Typical properties
In the Diemtigtal we mainly clean farmhouses, holiday chalets and local households in Oey, Diemtigen, Zwischenflüh and Schwenden.
For holiday chalets in the Diemtigtal we combine laundry collection and delivery with the changeover, including properties at the head of the valley.
The Diemtigtal is a side valley of the Simmental with scattered settlements and many well-preserved timber houses; it is recognised as a regional nature park.
Hand-over dates / season
In winter the Wiriehorn ski area and cross-country trails attract guests, in summer the nature park with its hiking trails. Holiday chalets therefore change in both seasons, rental properties mainly on the hand-over dates.
Parking & access
Some access roads are narrow mountain roads. Parking is usually possible at the property; for alpine huts or tracks not cleared in winter we clarify access in advance.
Local team
Several hamlets lie between Oey at the valley entrance and the Grimmialp; we plan jobs by section of the valley to keep distances short for our cleaners.
Besides Diemtigtal, we also work here:
- Wimmis
- Erlenbach im Simmental
- Zwischenflüh
- Schwenden
- Oey
Good to know
Good to know in the Diemtigtal
In the Simmental our cleaners live between Lenk and the valley entrance at Wimmis. Many houses are timber buildings with panelling, wooden floors and tiled stoves that need suitable care. Besides holiday properties there are many primary homes of families, so move-out and maintenance cleaning are as common as guest changeovers.
In winter we plan jobs so that snowy access roads can be reached safely.
