Letting matched to the season
Summer, from May to October, generates more revenue than winter. During the winter high season, weekly Saturday-to-Saturday stays are booked by families from Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. Summer and shoulder-season stays are available from two nights. No revenue amounts are disclosed.
What owners can take from this example
Consider season and stay length together
This example shows that summer can be important to revenue. Winter weeks and shorter summer stays require different planning. The appropriate strategy must be assessed for each apartment.
Connect bookings and guest care
Platforms provide visibility; the guest app and CRM support stays and returning guests. Direct bookings form part of the same operation rather than a separate task.
Make on-site quality traceable
Picobello handles cleaning, its own laundry facility and photo checks. Accounts complement the operational view. Owners need to know who takes responsibility and how work and figures can be followed.
