Checklist for a holiday rental changeover in Lenk

To keep consistent 5-star reviews, nothing should be left to chance. For our teams in Lenk, Zweisimmen and the Saanenland, we have developed a fixed checklist that standardises every changeover.

1. Living and dining area

• Dust check: Tables, skirting boards, lampshades and the tops of cupboards are checked carefully.
• Technology check: Do all bulbs work? Are the remote control batteries charged?
• Windows: We remove fingerprints from every pane for a clear mountain view.

2. Kitchen (hygiene hotspot)

• Appliances: Microwave, oven and toaster must be free of crumbs. The fridge is disinfected every time.
• Details: Check cutlery for water spots and descale the coffee machine – essential for the first coffee in the morning.

3. Bathrooms

• Limescale: We polish taps in Boltigen or St. Stephan until they shine.
• Drains: Checking shower and basin for hair.
• Presentation: Towels are laid out folded to hotel standard.

4. Bedroom

• Making the bed: We use the hotel-corner technique for tight sheets.
• Under the bed: We vacuum thoroughly there every time, as guests often look there (and store suitcases).
